. . .  Worried about your middle-schooler not shutting down their smartphone?
. . .  Concerned about your tween getting bullied online?
. . .  Wonder if your toddler likes YouTube Kids a bit too much?

WE ARE THE FIRST GENERATION TO PARENT IN THE DIGITAL AGE.

We are learning on the job.  We are ad-libbing as we go. No one coached you on how to stay safe online.  Your parents can’t tell you to regulate smartphone use.  Your teachers didn’t give you digital skills to pass on to your children.  You have to figure it out and teach your littles ones, but first you have to teach yourself.  The good news is that you don’t have to do it alone!

  1. Talk with your Kids.
  2. Educate Yourself – Read  The Main digital dangers facing your child
  3. Use parental controls
  4. Friend and Follow but don’t cross boundaries . Respect online space and don’t over it.
  5. Set Limits – Place limits on their tech use and h0w much time is being spent online.
  6. Know when to unplug.
